Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British-American sitarist as well as a music producer. She was first of her generation to be a member of the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shankar is one of India's rising stars in the sitar. She is Ravi Shankar's pupil and is also his daughter of Ravi Shankar. She was born in London in 1982, and her first years she split her time between London New Delhi. At New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years old. Then she moved to Encinitas CA, where she earned the High School diploma with honors in 1999. The career of Anouskha as a recorder and performer is remarkable, even at her young age. Since quite some time, she has been performing regularly with her father. She released her debut album in 1998. dropped Anourag as her debut single album. The Grammy Award-winning live at Carnegie Hall was released two years later than her first solo album. The stage is a very significant part of her work.
